Most of us practicing Zen realize there is no outside Buddha.  Buddha is your own hidden perfection.  There is no need to add anything.  There is nothing else that needs to be attained.  Already, we are complete.  As we look about in this old church, it is a Buddha seeing.  As we listen to these words, or the passing cars, it is a Buddha hearing.  As we walk in kinhin, it is a Buddha walking.  Enlightenment is just to realize this deeply, profoundly.  Enlightenment is just to realize something which has always been.  Spiritually, there is nothing else we need to know.  There is nothing more we need to say.
